Our Coordinated Approach to Housing in the Fox Cities

Build Fox Cities Housing Alliance (formerly the Fox Cities Housing Alliance) is a regional initiative bringing together local governments, developers, nonprofits, employers and funders to align policy, financing and community action in order to help deliver more attainable housing that meets the needs of today's residents.

Vision & Mission

Our vision is for a Fox Cities where everyone can find a home that supports their wellbeing and reflects their personal choices. We unite stakeholders to ignite change, shape policy and accelerate housing solutions tailored to our region.

Build Fox Cities was formed in 2022 to respond to growing housing challenges in the region. In 2025, the initiative evolved into a more structured, action-oriented effort with dedicated leadership and coordinated teams. The challenge is both local and national.

ACTION TEAM

Action Teams are where the work gets done. These cross-sector groups develop strategies, test ideas and determine how to put solutions into practice.

Build Fox Cities Housing Alliance has three Action Teams, each focused on a key bottleneck in our housing system: Community Education and Engagement builds support for new and denser housing; Improving Regulation shares effective zoning and building-code practices across Fox Cities jurisdictions; and New Financing Tools develops financing that helps producers build and moderate-income households buy.

A growing network of leaders working together to strengthen housing.

OUR ALLIES

Build Fox Cities works with organizations across sectors, including local governments, developers, employers, nonprofits and financial institutions.
